Seguimiento de carga viral y conteo de cd4 en pacientes sometidos a tratamiento antirretroviral en el departamento de infección transmisión sexual y VIH/sida del Hospital Central de las Fuerzas Armadas, abril 2016 – abril 2017

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal con el objetivo de determinar el seguimiento de la carga viral y conteo de CD4 en pacientes con VIH/Sida sometidos a tratamiento antirretroviral en el Departamento de Infección de Transmisión Sexual VIH/Sida del Hospital Central de Las Fuerzas Armadas entre abril 2016-abril 2017. La población estuvo conformada por todos los pacientes con VIH/Sida del Departamento de Infección y Transmisión Sexual y VIH y la muestra fue de 25 pacientes. Se reporta que el 44% estaba comprendido entre 20-29 y 40-49 años respectivamente, el 64% tenía un nivel medio de escolaridad, un 50% vivía en unión libre, el 92% era heterosexual, un 20% se encontró padeciendo cefalea, un 60% estaba siendo tratados mediantes el esquema TDF/3TC+EFV, un 80% estaba tomando su tratamiento como habían sido prescritos, un 32% presentó carga viral previo a tratamiento entre 51-400, Posterior del tratamiento antirretroviral, el 48% la presentó entre 51-400. El 40% presentó CD4 previo al tratamiento entre 401-1000 células/mm3 , Posterior al de tratamiento el 56% lo presentó entre 401-1000 células/mm3

A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out to determine the follow-up of viral load and CD4 count in HIV/Sida patients undergoing antiretroviral treatment in the Department of Sexual Transmission Infection and HIV of the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces between april 2016-april 2017. The population consisted of all patients with HIV/Sida of the Department of Sexual Infection Transmission infection and HIV/Sida and the sample was of 25 patients.
