Abstract

Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, de corte transversal, prospectivo de recolección de datos de fuente secundaria, con la finalidad de determinar la prevalencia de tuberculosis pulmonar en tres centros de atención primaria del área uno de Santo Domingo Este. Enero 2018 – Noviembre 2018. Según el número de casos por centro en el 55.6 por ciento se reportó en el Centro Diagnóstico y Atención Primaria Villa Liberación, el 25 por ciento de los pacientes tenían una edad comprendida entre 20 a 26 años, el 55.6 por ciento de los pacientes eran del sexo masculino, el 94.4 por ciento de los pacientes eran de nacionalidad dominicana, el 2.8 por ciento de las ocupaciones de los pacientes eran entre comerciante, estudiantes taxistas, cocineros y otros, el 69.4 por ciento de los pacientes eran universitarios, el 30.6 de los habito tóxicos de los pacientes es el tabaco, el 50 por ciento del método diagnostico utilizado fue la baciloscopia, el 11.1 por ciento de las comorbilidades presentada por los pacientes fue la diabetes, el 50 por ciento de los pacientes su condición viral su negativa, el 94.4 por ciento de los síntomas presentado por los pacientes fue tos, el 80.6 por ciento de los pacientes se le aplico la BCG, el 55.6 por ciento de los pacientes la ruta de identificación casos sospechoso fueron contraferidos, el 91.7 por ciento de los pacientes los antecedentes de tratamiento fue nuevo, el 63.9 por ciento de la población no eran vulnerables, el 11.1 por ciento de los tipos de persona vulnerable fue por contacto de TB.
