dc.description.abstractSe realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal con abordaje cuantitativo con el objetivo de determinar la valoración de la función diastólica en pacientes con fibrilación auricular asistidos en el Hospital Dr. Salvador B. Gautier entre enero-abril, del 2017. El 43.5 por ciento de los pacientes eran mayor o igual a 60 años, el 54.3 por ciento de los pacientes eran de sexo femenino, en el factor de riesgo vascular, el 20 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron hipertencion arterial, según la Velocidad de onda E el 70 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron >1.9 cm/seg, según la Velocidad E septal el 76 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron <7cm/seg, la Velocidad onda E lateral el 65 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron <10cm/seg, en cuanto a la Releccion E/e el 83 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron >14cm/seg, según en el Tiempo de relajación isovolumetrica el 61 por ciento de los paciente presentaron >65ms, con relación al Tiempo desaceleración TD el 74 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron >220 m/s, en cuanto al Volumen aurícula izquierda el 59 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron >34 ml/m2, según la Velocidad Regurgitación Tricuspidea el 72 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron <2.8ms, según el Grado de disfunción el 59 por ciento de los pacientes presentaron Grado 1.en_US
