dc.description.abstract | Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y de corte transversal con el objetivo de determinar los conocimientos, las actitudes y las prácticassobre lactancia materna en embarazadasasistidas en la consulta de obstetricia del Hospital Central de Las Fuerzas Armadas entre septiembre-noviembre, 2019. El universo estuvo constituido por todas las embarazadas y la muestra fue de 35 escogidas de forma no intencional. Se reporta que el 62.9 por ciento tiene alto conocimiento sobre lactancia materna, un 34.3 por ciento estaba comprendida entre 25-29 años, de las 12 embarazadas encuestadas comprendidas entre 25-29 años, el 75.0 por ciento tenían alto conocimiento sobre lactancia materna, un 8.3 por ciento, mediano conocimiento y un 16.7 por ciento bajo conocimiento, el 42.8 por ciento tenía un nivel superior de escolaridad, de las 15 embarazadas encuestadas con un nivel superior de escolaridad, un 86.6 por ciento tenían alto conocimiento sobre lactancia materna, el 6.7 por ciento, mediano conocimiento y un 6.7 por ciento bajo conocimiento, un 37.1 por ciento era soltera, de las 13 embarazadas encuestadas solteras, el 53.8 por ciento tenían alto conocimiento sobre lactancia materna, un 30.8 por ciento, mediano conocimiento y el 15.4 por ciento bajo conocimiento, el 40.0 por ciento tenía por ocupación oficio hogareño, un 82.9 por ciento presentó práctica positiva frente a la lactancia materna y el 88.6 por ciento presentó actitud adecuada sobre la lactancia materna. It was a descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional study was conducted with the objective of determining the knowledge, attitudes and practices on breastfeeding in pregnant women assisted in the obstetrics consultation of the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces between September-November, 2019. The universe consisted of all pregnant women and the sample was 35 unintentionally chosen. It is reported that 62.9 percent have high knowledge about breastfeeding, 34.3 percent were between 25-29 years, of the 12 pregnant women surveyed between 25-29 years, 75.0 percent had high knowledge about breastfeeding, a 8.3 percent, medium knowledge and 16.7 percent under knowledge, 42.8 percent had a higher level of schooling, of the 15 pregnant women surveyed with a higher level of schooling, 86.6 percent had high knowledge about breastfeeding, 6.7 percent, medium knowledge and 6.7 percent under knowledge, 37.1 percent were single, of the 13 pregnant single respondents, 53.8 percent had high knowledge about breastfeeding, 30.8 percent, medium knowledge and 15.4 percent Under knowledge, 40.0 percent had a household occupation, 82.9 percent presented positive practice against breastfeeding and 88.6 percent presented an adequate attitude about breastfeeding. | en_US |
