Incidencia de hipertensión arterial en pacientes de 18-35 años en la consulta de medicina familiar Hospital doctor Luís Eduardo Aybar 2010-2011
Abstract
Se realiza de un estudio descriptivo y prospectivo de recolección de información estadística, cuyo objetivo consiste en determinar la incidencia de hipertensión arterial en pacientes de 18-35 años en la consulta de Medicina Familiar del Hospital Dr. Luís E. Aybar durante los meses enero-febrero 2014. El universo estuvo constituido 104 pacientes comprendidos entre 18-35 años y la muestra fue de 27 pacientes de 18-35 años escogidos a conveniencia. Se reporta una incidencia de hipertensión arterial de 26 por ciento, el 48.1 por ciento estaba comprendido entre 31-35 años de edad, de los cuales, 14.9 por ciento correspondió al sexo masculino y un 33.3 por ciento al sexo femenino, un 44.4 por ciento se encontraba soltero, el 59.3 por ciento tenía un nivel medio de escolaridad, el 81.5 por ciento consumía alcohol, mientras que café era consumido por un 70.4 por ciento, un 40.7 por ciento tenía a los padres como antecedentes de familiaridad de hipertensión arterial y un 31.5 por ciento presentaron a las madres y el 51.8 por presentó el sedentarismo como principal factor de riesgo, mientras que un 33.3 por ciento eran diabéticos.
