Abstract
Se realiza un estudio para diagnósticar Tuberculosis en personas VIH positivas en el cual se encontraron las siguientes dificultades: limitaciones de la microscopia para bacilos acido resistentes (BAAR); las manifestaciones clínicas dependen del grado de inmunosupresión; la investigación de BAAR en el esputo puede estar negativa en 22-64% de los casos; hallazgos atípicos en la radiografía de tórax y hasta puede estar negativa; es frecuente en personas con linfocitos T CD4 DE 100 /ml de sangre; Linfadenitis Diseminada (hemocultivos positivos), Meningitis Pleuritis, Pericarditis. Se presentan los medicamentos a administrar al paciente el cual requiere hospitalización por la necesidad de combinar medicamentos en el tratamiento.
