Abstract
Mesa técnica de discusión de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud con la participación de la Dra. Jady Acosta cardióloga pediatra y docente de la UNPHU sobre el tema “ no siempre es sepsis cardiopatías críticas del recién nacido”. Se abordan las cardiopatías congénitas y cardiopatías críticas. Se explican las diferencias entre sepsis y cardiopatías congénitas. Se presentan las características que puede presentar un paciente para ser diagnosticado con cardiopatía. Se comparte un caso clínico de un recién nacido con un cuadro clínico de taquicardia, pulsos periféricos débiles, hipotenso y con anemia. Se determina el diagnóstico del caso presentado.
