Factores de riesgo de sobrepeso y obesidad en los adolescentes del Liceo Nocturno República de Honduras, Enero – Mayo, 2019
Resumen
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal con el objetivo de determinar los factores de riesgo de sobrepeso y obesidad en los adolescentes del Liceo Nocturno República de Honduras, enero-mayo, 2019. El universo estuvo constituido por 268 alumnos y la muestra fue de 84 adolescentes con sobrepeso y obesidad. Se reporta que un 20.9 por ciento presentó sobrepeso y un 10.4 por ciento obesidad, el 59.5 por ciento correspondió al sexo femenino, un 69 por ciento se halló entre 17-19 años, el 29.8 por ciento se encontraba cursando el segundo grado, el 32.1 por ciento tenía familiar obeso, un 75 por ciento consumía comida rápida, un 51.2 por ciento consume pica pollo, el 58.3 por ciento consume ocasionalmente comida rica en sal, un 60.7 por ciento consume ocasionalmente comida rica en fibra, el 41.7 por ciento no realiza ejercicio, el 38.8 por ciento realiza ejercicio caminando y el 32.6 por ciento no realiza ejercicio diariamente.
It was a descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional study was carried out with the objective of determining the risk factors of overweight and obesity in adolescents of the Republic of Honduras Novice Liceo, January-May, 2019. The universe consisted of 268 students and the sample was of 84 adolescents with overweight and obesity. It is reported that 20.9 percent were overweight and 10.4 percent were obese, 59.5 percent were female, 69 percent were between 17-19 years, 29.8 percent were in second grade, 32.1 percent had an obese relative, 75 percent consumed fast food, 51.2 percent consumed pica pica, 58.3 percent occasionally consumed food rich in salt, 60.7 percent occasionally consumed foods rich in fiber, 41.7 percent did not perform exercise, 38.8 percent perform walking exercise and 32.6 percent do not exercise daily.
